Published on 19 September 2018

"Human fights rights lights" is the title of the video trilogy by the Italian artist Umberto Ciceri aiming to dramatize and explore a new dimension of the complete text of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948. The first act symbolises the experience and the second act the awareness is the process. Finally, the third act is composition of a symbolic dance, with its melody of a universal rhythm; thgis part also includes the his famous Ballerina figures.

As this year marks the 70th anniversary since its adoption on 10th December 1948 at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris, France, the artist seeks to highlight the ambiguous ethics and aesthetics of the media language adopted in the spectrum of today's society.
